Once you have taken your first I.S.T.D exam you are eligible to enter medallist competitions if you wish. These are held frequently at various locations around the UK. We attend competitions as far away as Gillingham and Bournemouth, plus of course the grand finals in Blackpool in November.

For a first timer we recommend the Lymington or local Burgess Hill competitions. Both of these have a great atmosphere and we tend to travel in numbers helping with travel and of course plenty of support.

Most competitions start around 9am on a Sunday and will take up most of your day. Some pupils like to make weekends out of the competitions and travel up the day before and stay or stay after the competition so theres not too much travelling all in one day, but most pupils will go and come back on the day of the competition.
